It’s your own branded storefront on your own domain (or a free .shoptsy. sub-domain). We don’t aggregate everyone’s products into a single marketplace feed, so you keep full control over brand experience, pricing, and customer data.
Yes. Use our “Customer Groups” feature to show retail pricing to the public while gating wholesale pricing, bulk-order minimums, or tax-exclusive rates to approved B2B buyers.
For now, Shoptsy supports physical products with real-time inventory tracking and digital products delivered via secure, expiring download links. Service bookings and subscription-based items aren’t live yet, but they’re on our roadmap and will be rolled out in a future release.

Unlimited products, hosted storefront, SSL, global CDN, AI assistant, advance reports, and 24×7 chat support. Email marketing, SMS credits, and advanced automation tiers scale with plan level.
Shoptsy takes zero commission. You’re free to integrate the payment gateway of your choice, and you’ll pay only that provider’s standard processing fees—nothing extra to us.
Shoptsy doesn’t lock you into fixed “plans.” Instead, we use a tier system that’s automatically recalculated every quarter based on your store’s credit balance and deposits. Your tier—and the corresponding marketing cost—adjusts up or down with no manual action and no penalties or re-activation fees. If you go quiet for a while, your tier will naturally drop, so there’s no need to “pause” the store.
Yes. Shoptsy is open to sellers worldwide, though most of our support and features are optimized for India.

Tenant data for Indian shops is kept in secure data-centre facilities in Mumbai, India. Backups stay in the same region as the primary data to satisfy local data-residency requirements.
Shoptsy never handles or stores card-holder data directly; every checkout is routed through third-party payment processors that are already PCI-DSS certified. Because the sensitive data stays with those providers, the formal PCI scope (and its audits) sits with them—removing that burden from you. We still enforce strong platform-wide security controls, and full ISO-27001 certification is on our roadmap, but no additional PCI steps are required on your side.

For the moment Shoptsy sends transactional SMS only, using our own pre-approved DLT header and templates. That means you don’t have to register a separate sender ID or file DLT paperwork—messages go out under our compliant header.

Yes—our Success team can handle end-to-end migration (products, customers, orders, URL redirects), but it’s offered as a paid add-on. Fees are based on catalogue size and complexity; contact Support for a tailored quote before scheduling the transfer.
DNS cut-over takes minutes; we stage everything on a preview URL so you flip the switch when ready.
You own the DNS. Point it to your new host and export your content; we provide a static redirect file so SEO equity remains intact.
Right now Shoptsy ships with two automated flows out-of-the-box: Abandoned-Cart reminders and Back-in-Stock alerts. Additional sequences—welcome series, win-back, first-purchase thank-yous, etc.—are planned for future releases.
