Go Live with Your Store

You’re almost there This section covers the final steps before opening your store to customers.

Step 1: Preview your store

Before going live:

  • Preview your storefront on desktop and mobile
  • Check product pages, cart, and checkout
  • Verify prices, images, and content

Step 2: Place a test order

We strongly recommend:

  • Placing a test order
  • Completing checkout using a test or low-value payment
  • Checking order confirmation emails
  • Reviewing the order in the dashboard

This helps catch issues early.

Step 3: Connect your domain (optional)

You can:

  • Use the default Shoptsy store URL, or
  • Connect your own custom domain

Make sure DNS settings are fully propagated before announcing your store.

Step 4: Open your store

Once everything looks good:

  • Remove password protection (if enabled)
  • Enable live payment mode
  • Start accepting real orders

Congratulations! Your Shoptsy store is now live.
