  • Change the default warehouse at any time
  • Ensures fallback fulfillment logic works correctly

Warehouse Priority

Warehouse priority controls which warehouse is used first when fulfilling new orders.

How priority works

  • Orders are assigned based on priority order
  • If stock is unavailable in the first warehouse, the next one is used
  • Helps optimize shipping time and logistics cost

Use cases

  • Multi-city inventory setup
  • Regional fulfillment optimization
  • Load balancing across warehouses

Best Practices

  • Keep warehouse addresses accurate and complete
  • Activate only warehouses that are operational
  • Assign clear priority for multi-warehouse setups
  • Regularly review default warehouse configuration
  • Align warehouses with shipping zones and carriers

Troubleshooting

Orders not fulfilling correctly

  • Ensure the warehouse is active
  • Check warehouse priority settings
  • Verify product inventory is assigned to the correct warehouse

Shipping rates not appearing

  • Confirm warehouse address matches shipping zones
  • Ensure carriers are linked to the warehouse
