Accurate weight and dimensions are critical for correct shipping cost calculation.
Why weight matters¶
Shipping partners often charge based on:
- actual weight, or
- volumetric (dimensional) weight
The higher of the two is usually applied.
Product-level configuration¶
For each product or variant, you can set:
- weight
- length
- width
- height
These values are combined at checkout to calculate shipping cost.
