Discounts Management

The Discounts module in Shoptsy allows administrators to create, manage, and monitor promotional offers such as percentage discounts, fixed discounts, free shipping, and Buy X Get Y offers.

This page covers both:

  • Discount Listing
  • Add / Create Discount

Discount Listing

The Discount Listing page displays all created discounts and provides tools to manage them.

Features

  • View all discounts in a table
  • Search discount by title
  • Filter by:
  • Status (Active / Inactive)
  • Method (Code / Automatic)
  • Type (Product / Order / Shipping / Buy X Get Y)
  • Sort discounts
  • Track number of times a discount has been used
  • Create new discount using + Add discount

Table Columns

Column Description
Title Discount name or generated code
Status Active / Inactive
Method Code or Automatic
Type Amount of products, Amount of orders, Free shipping, Buy X Get Y
Combines With Whether the discount can combine with other discounts
Used Number of times the discount has been applied

Add Discount

Click + Add discount from the listing page to open the discount creation screen.

Discount Setup Sections

1. Method

Choose how the discount is applied:

  • Discount code – Customer must enter a code during checkout
  • Automatic discount – Discount applies automatically

You can generate a random code using the Generate button.

2. Value

Select the discount value type:

  • Percentage (Example: 10% off)
  • Fixed amount (Example: ₹100 off)

3. Applies To

Choose where the discount applies:

  • Specific ranges
  • Specific products

4. Minimum Purchase Requirements

Optional conditions:

  • No minimum purchase
  • Minimum purchase amount (₹)
  • Minimum quantity of items

5. Customer Eligibility

Define who can use the discount:

  • All customers
  • Specific customers

6. Maximum Discount Uses

Limit discount usage:

  • Limit total uses
  • Limit one use per customer

7. Combinations

Allow discount to combine with:

  • Other product discounts
  • Shipping discounts

8. Active Dates

Schedule discount duration:

  • Start date & time
  • Optional end date

  • Buy X Get Y

  • 20% off on selected products
