Inventory¶
Inventory lets you track product stock levels in real time across warehouses.
It ensures accurate availability, prevents overselling, and supports smooth order fulfillment.
Overview¶
From the Inventory page, you can:
- View stock levels per product
- Adjust available inventory manually
- Track incoming and committed stock
- Set low-stock alert thresholds
- Filter inventory by warehouse, vendor, category, or tag
Inventory updates automatically as orders are placed, fulfilled, or restocked.
Inventory Table¶
Each row represents a product (or variant, if applicable) within the selected warehouse.
Columns Explained¶
Product¶
- Displays the product name and thumbnail
- Clicking the product opens product details
SKU¶
- Shows the product SKU (if assigned)
- Useful for internal tracking and fulfillment
Incoming¶
- Stock that is expected to arrive
- Usually added via inventory transfers or restocking
- Not yet available for sale
Committed¶
- Stock reserved for placed but unfulfilled orders
- Helps prevent overselling
- Deducted automatically when orders are created
Available¶
- Stock currently available for purchase
- Can be adjusted manually using
+and– - Automatically updated during checkout and fulfillment
Low Stock Alert¶
- Defines the minimum stock threshold
- Alerts you when available stock falls below this number
- Helps prevent stockouts
Searching & Filtering¶
You can refine inventory using:
- Search by product name or SKU
- Vendor filter
- Tag filter
- Category filter
- Availability filter (in stock / out of stock)
- Warehouse selector (location-based inventory view)
- Sort by availability or other criteria
Filters help manage large catalogs efficiently.
Warehouse-Based Inventory¶
Inventory is tracked per warehouse.
This allows you to:
- Maintain separate stock levels per location
- Fulfill orders from the nearest or preferred warehouse
- Manage multi-warehouse operations effectively
Changing the warehouse selector updates the inventory view instantly.
Manual Inventory Adjustments¶
You can manually adjust inventory:
- When receiving stock outside of transfers
- During stock corrections
- For physical stock reconciliation
Adjustments apply immediately and affect product availability.

- Always track inventory for physical products
- Use committed stock to avoid overselling
- Set low-stock alerts for high-selling items
- Use transfers instead of manual edits for warehouse moves
- Review inventory regularly during peak sales
