Billing & Summary¶
The Billing & Summary section gives you a complete overview of your Shoptsy account balance, usage, payments, and pricing tiers. This area helps you track spending, manage credits, and understand how your billing level affects communication costs.
Billing Summary¶
The Summary dashboard provides a snapshot of your current billing status.
Available Funds¶
- Shows your current wallet balance
- Used for chargeable services like Email and SMS
- Click Add funds to top up your balance
Last Payment¶
- Displays your most recent payment
- Indicates the payment method used (manual or online)
- Helpful for reconciliation and audits
Current Quarter Overview¶
Your billing activity is tracked quarterly.
What you see¶
- Total Purchase – Amount added during the current quarter
- Total Usage – Credits consumed during the quarter
- Balance from Last Quarter – Carried-forward balance
- Current Level – Your pricing tier based on cumulative deposits
The billing quarter resets automatically at the end of each quarter.
Billing Levels & Pricing Tiers¶
Your billing level is determined by your cumulative deposits within the current quarter. Higher tiers unlock lower per-unit costs.

How tier upgrades work¶
- Tiers update automatically as you add more funds
- Reduced rates apply immediately after upgrade
- Tier resets every quarter based on fresh deposits
Billing History¶
View a detailed record of:
- Fund additions

- Payment references
This helps with financial tracking and accounting.
Billing Statement¶
Billing statements provide a summarized view of: - Total charges - Usage by service - Period-based billing data
Ideal for:
- Accounting
- Tax filings
- Business audits
Billing Details¶
The Billing Details section contains: - Business information - Billing address - Tax identifiers (if applicable)
Ensure this information is accurate to avoid invoice issues.
Important Notes¶
- Shoptsy does not charge platform fees by default
- Charges apply only for:
- Email communications
- SMS communications
- Unused balance may be carried forward (as per policy)
- Rates are subject to change based on provider pricing
Best Practices¶
- Monitor usage regularly to avoid service interruption
- Top up before running large email or SMS campaigns
- Aim for higher tiers if you send high volumes regularly
- Download billing statements for monthly reconciliation
