Shipping Zones

Shipping zones let you group delivery locations and apply different shipping rules to each group.

What is a shipping zone?

A shipping zone is a geographic area where the same shipping rates and rules apply.

Examples:

  • Local (within city)
  • Domestic (within country)
  • International (specific countries or regions)

Creating shipping zones

When creating a zone, you can define:

  • Countries
  • States or regions
  • Pin codes or postal codes (if supported)

Each order is matched to a shipping zone based on the customer’s delivery address.

Why zones are important

  • Control shipping costs by region
  • Offer different delivery options
  • Prevent shipping to unsupported locations

Best practices

  • Keep zones simple and clearly defined
  • Avoid overlapping zones
  • Test checkout using addresses from different zones
