Shipment Tracking

Tracking keeps customers informed about the delivery status of their orders.

How tracking works

Once an order is shipped:

  • A tracking number is generated
  • A tracking link is shared with the customer
  • Order status updates as the shipment moves

Tracking sources

Tracking updates may come from:

  • integrated courier partners
  • manual tracking entries
  • third-party tracking links

Customer experience

Customers can:

  • view tracking status from order emails
  • check shipment progress from order history
  • receive delivery notifications (if enabled)

Common tracking statuses

  • Picked up
  • In transit
  • Out for delivery
  • Delivered
  • Delayed or exception

Best practices

  • Always add tracking when available
  • Monitor delayed shipments
  • Proactively inform customers about delivery issues
